90 days is not enough time for displaced families of war, natural disaster, or persecution to transition and become self-sufficient in a new culture and new society.

Asha's Refuge serves and speaks up for the persecuted throughout the world seeking first to assist refugees, asylees, and other lawfully present individuals in our own community. Our example is Jesus Christ who welcomed the foreigner, uplifted the most vulnerable, and served with compassion.

 We partner with local resettlement agencies, businesses, legal aid, churches, and other organizations to create sustainable programs that help bridge the gap, encourage positive self-worth, and empower newcomers.

To provide supportive services, crisis management, advocacy, a safe living environment, and pathways that help newcomers achieve independence.

Community Matters

Collaboration

Over the years, Asha's Refuge has collaborated in some way or another with many businesses, churches, schools, and agencies to open doors and make better resettlement processes for newcomers.  We've served over 4,000 individuals since our existence in 2010 in partnership with others.  We could not have done this without great people and leaders to help make it happen.  Thank you for serving alongside us Memphis!
